DITSONG: Museums of South Africa is a network of eight national museums located in the Gauteng province (seven in Tshwane, one in Johannesburg) that preserve, research, and exhibit South Africa’s natural, cultural, military, anthropological, archaeological, and geological heritage. Their collections range from fossils and wildlife specimens to military memorabilia, agriculture artifacts, cultural history, and meteorite sites.
