Highgate Ostrich Show Farm, located about 10 km south of Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, is one of the oldest and most original ostrich show farms in the world, established in 1938. Visitors can take guided tours to meet ostriches up close, see incubators and hatching chicks, hand-feed birds, learn about ostrich anatomy, and watch how feathers, leather products, and eggshell crafts are made.
