Description

SANCCOB (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds) is a non-profit wildlife conservation organisation founded in 1968, dedicated to reversing the decline of seabird populations—especially the critically endangered African penguin. SANCCOB operates rescue and rehabilitation centres in Cape Town (Western Cape) and Gqeberha (Eastern Cape), where ill, oiled, injured or abandoned seabirds and chicks are treated and rehabilitated for release.
