Jabulani (a Relais & Châteaux member property) represents the epitome of style, luxury, gastronomic excellence and warm hospitality. But at the heart of this five star operation lies a cause far greater than its tangible elements. This camp was conceptualized and created for one purpose. To support and sustain a herd of rescued elephants from Zimbabwe.

Jabulani is located within the private Kapama Game Reserve in Hoedspruit, South Africa (in close proximity to the Kruger National Park in the scenic Mpumalanga region). With a Relais & Chateaux accreditation, this lodge offers first class accommodation, cuisine, facilities and personalised service. This luxurious lodge has only six suites – never more than 12 guests, while the exclusive Zindoga Villa is ideally suited to the family traveller, or the client who prefers a more private, luxury experience.

Some of Jabulani’s notable activities include: respectful and soulful elephant experiences – watching the herd swimming in the dam, with the dedicated elephant carers sharing insight into the elephant herd, or witnessing the herd walking past the waterhole at sunset. Other activities include game drives in the Big Five reserve, with knowledgeable and passionate rangers, indulgent treatments in the outdoor bush spa, and gastronomic delights at the hands of the masterful culinary team.

The lodge is easily accessible by road, or by air on daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg or private charter flights.
