WHO WAS ULYSSES?
Ulysses was the king of Itchaca, called Odysseus in Greek. He was the mastermind behind the wooden horse used at the siege of Troy. After the taking of Troy, Ulysses set out for Itchaca, which, however, he did not reach for twenty years. During this time he experienced the travel adventures described in the famous book by Homeros.
