Private Full Day Hike in Stellenbosch
Hike the Jonkershoek Mountains just outside of Stellenbosch. Your guide will fetch you from your accommodation, You will then be driven through to Stellenbosch. Choose between hiking the Tweede Waterval Trail (6.5 km; regarded as an easy hike; duration 2-3 hours) or the Swartboskloof to Sosyskloof Trail (6.9 km; regarded as an easy hike; duration 2-3 hours).
There are a few different trails to choose from ranging in difficulty and length.

E Biking in Pabala Private Nature Reserve
Enjoy half a day of e-biking from Pabala Game Farm. Starting and ending at Pabala, we e-bike at Crossways around the farm village. The trail is 29km long and has 600m of climbing. It has a combination of tar and gravel road, jeep tracks and single tracks with some technical steep downhill and uphill climbs. Suitable for moderate to advanced riders, the trail offers amazing views of the Longmore plantation and the garden route coastal area.

During the game drive, we will drive through the park looking for wildlife for 2 hours with breathtaking photo opportunities along the way. After a stop for drinks the game viewing will continue for another hour or so before embarking on the trip back to your accommodation.

In positioning the vehicle in the right place and wait patiencly for the animals to move in it’s natural environment for you to get the best possible shot. Highlights of the #FLF23 – So many lovely things happened in the three days I was in Franschhoek, dear reader that it would be a looooong, boring tome if I had to tell you all of them. And before people start coming for me and I get cancelled on Booktok can I just say that ALL moments at #FLF23 were special but the ones I’m writing about this week were EXTRA-SPECIAL moments. To start with, my cousin, Mary whom I haven’t seen since I was at Franschhoek in 2018 suddenly turned up before my panel on Friday with her husband, Pete. We had an emotional moment where she thanked me for writing the Shitfaced book and said how it gave her insight into our shared history as cuzzies. It was verrrry cool. Read the full blog HERE
